The truth is that many of the highly advertised fad diets <span style="text-decoration: underline;">will</span> help you lose weight to some degree. You’ll find easy diets to lose weight in almost every health magazine or infomercials on TV.  Countless banner ads flood the internet.  But as the saying goes, &#8220;Losing weight is easy — I&#8217;ve lost 10 pounds . . . dozens of times.&#8221;</p>
<p>Diets are really a temporary state. That’s why people go on a “diet” as it is not intended to last forever. But when people come off the diets after losing some weight and go back to eating normal foods, 95% of people put the weight back on. And the whole yo-yo effect begins all over again.</p>
<p>But with that said, here are some easy diets to lose weight fast that you will hear and read about, but will rarely lead to permanent weight loss or better health.</p>
<p><strong>Cabbage Soup Diet</strong> – Well known for allowing people to lose a lot of weight fast. The principal is simple; just eat cabbage soup as often as you can when you feel hungry. It has low calories and will stop you from feeling hungry all the time. You can spice things up by adding vegetables and other things to make it taste better. It works by restricting your caloric intake but it doesn&#8217;t provide for a balanced, healthy diet.  It isn’t intended to be used for more than a week. I believe she lost weight on that diet (hello, no food for fourteen days will make anybody drop a <em>few</em> pounds).  But is this really a diet?   Technically, it a type of colon cleanse or &#8220;detox&#8221;.  Colon cleansing removes toxins with a goal of promoting healthy intestinal bacteria, boosting your energy and enhancing your immune system.  While you probably will lose weight with a colon cleanse, that&#8217;s not the main purpose.  Colon cleansing is controversial and you can read more about it here.</p>
<p><strong>The Grapefruit Diet</strong> - This one has been around since the 1930&#8217;s and is basically the same as the lauded &#8220;Hollywood Diet.&#8221;   <span style="font-size: small;">The premise of the Grapefruit Diet is  based on a specific enzyme  in grapefruits  triggers fat burning and causes <a onclick="return sl(this,'','embd-lnk');" href="http://www.webmd.com/diet/default.htm"></a>weight loss. </span>Although this diet does allow small amounts of protein and other healthy food, it doesn&#8217;t provide a balanced diet and isn&#8217;t recommended for more than 7-10 days.  <span style="font-size: small;">The diet usually does promote  fast weight loss; unfortunately, the weight lost is  primarily from </span>water and regained quickly.</p>

<p>The workout itself should contain exercises for the whole body. A total body workout keeps the entire body in proportion and also means you are targeting all muscle groups. This is important because it means your entire body is being worked and nothing is being neglected.</p>
<p>To design your own muscle mass building workout you should separate your major muscle groups into days of the week. This is because you shouldn’t be training the same muscle groups everyday and giving them a day of rest ensures they are growing as they should. So one day work your upper body, the next day work your mid section and abs and the next day work your legs and so on.</p>
<p><em>So a typical well balanced daily workout plan would look like this:</em></p>
<p><strong>Monday</strong> – Shoulders &#038; Back.</p>

<p>You can use this day to add some cardio work to your fitness plan. Running, walking or cycling will help to burn calories and lose some of that excess fat your body is carrying.</p>
<p>By concentrating on each major muscle group daily, it allows for more intense training to be done. You can really focus on each muscle and work it as hard as you can. This can lead to extreme growth a lot quicker than if you were to train various muscle groups everyday.</p>
<p>Of course, no <strong>muscle mass building workout</strong> would be complete without having a well balanced diet. You are going to be eating at least 50% carbs in your diet.
